In the decade since their formation as a local supergroup, Lovely Dark has continuously evolved, refining their unique voice. With Golden Bough, however, they embrace a darker, more distorted landscape-pushing their sound into a rawer, bolder space while retaining the melodic beauty that first captivated fans.
Led by the dynamic songwriting duo of Sonia and Travis Even, the band also features members from renowned Minneapolis acts like Self-Evident and Buildings, who have long been fixtures in the city's thriving noise and math rock scenes.
